Data Processing Addendum
1. What this is.
This Data Processing Addendum ("DPA") is part of the Terms of Use and applies to every attorney or firm that uses the service. It covers the files the attorney uploads and the output the service returns, together the "matter data." You are the controller. We are the processor. The files are yours. We run them through the engine and nothing else.
2. What we do with your files.
You upload discovery. The engine reads it, builds the output, and sends the output back to you. Your files are then deleted, permanently. We do nothing else with them.
3. What kinds of files.
PDFs, Word files, text files, pictures (JPEG, PNG, HEIC), video (MP4, MOV, and other common formats), audio (MP3, M4A, WAV), and the output we send back.
4. Who sees your files, and for how long.
Nobody. No human at Analyzed Discovery and no human anywhere else. The only thing that touches your files is the model that produces the output, and it keeps nothing. Your files exist for the length of the run. When the run ends, they are gone. We never train any model on them.
5. Security.
We do not publish how our security works. Nobody has access to your files, and your files are deleted when the run ends.
6. If someone asks about their data.
If a person in your files asks you to find, fix, or delete their information, that is yours to handle. You have the only copy. We have nothing.
7. If there is a breach.
There is nothing to breach. We do not have your files. We have your email address and your bar number. If those get out, we will tell you right away.
8. Getting your data back or deleting it.
There is nothing to get back and nothing to delete. It is deleted automatically when the run ends. We keep your email address and bar number, as the Privacy Policy says.
9. Other countries.
We serve licensed attorneys in the United States. Your files do not leave the country.
10. Audits.
Matter data is not retained. No audit materials exist. Security design is proprietary.
11. Which document wins.
If this page and the Terms of Use disagree about personal data, this page wins. Nevada law applies, the same as the Terms, unless a data-protection law requires otherwise.
